Choosing the 12 core fiber optic cable multimode om4 indoor outdoor

Twelve fibres make a building backbone: several duplex links between floors or from the main comms room to a distribution point, with spares. OM4 carries 10 Gb up to about 400 m and 40/100 Gb up to 150 m, the usual choice for new data-centre and backbone links. Non-armoured construction keeps it light for ducts, trays and indoor/outdoor routes with mechanical protection.
